President Roles
- The President leads the Excutive Branch, and is in charge of the United States Of America.
- The President usually takes on one proposal to make a change in the U.S. ( Example: Health Care Reform)
- Has the power to Veto laws, and propose laws to Congress.
- To protect the constitution, by enforcing the laws, making others follow these laws.
- The Consititution has said that The President is given to be Commander in Chief of Armed Forces and National Guard Units. Managing National Affairs and to over see the power of or government.
- Can Appoint federal judges, and cabinet members.
Salary
President Obama recieves around $400,000 a year.
